Versioning
⚡ 3 min readVersioning is how you share a Persona with your organization. You publish the bundle from this device; teammates download that same revision and apply it on theirs. Everyone works from one spec manual instead of copying files between machines.
Local create, edit, and Apply do not need a login. Sharing does. Sign in, then use Synchronization in the desktop app.
Sharing is not Apply. Upload / Get Latest only syncs the Persona bundle with your organization. Each person still applies that bundle to Claude, Cursor, Codex, or Antigravity on their device.
Current vs Remote
Every shared Persona has two version numbers.
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Current | The revision saved on this device. In the Korean UI: 현재 버전. |
| Remote | The revision published to the organization. In the Korean UI: 팀 버전. |
| None | That side does not have the Persona yet. |
Open a Persona to see Current and Remote at the top of the file list. Open Synchronization to compare every Persona on this device with the team copy.
Each upload creates a new revision. The previous organization copy is kept
as history — it is not overwritten in place. When you upload, give the revision
a short tag your team can recognize (for example First version). Tags are
at most 100 characters.
Share from the desktop app
- Sign in. Sharing uses your organization, not a project folder.
- Open Synchronization (동기화). The app compares this device with Remote.
- Choose the action the table recommends.
| Status | What it means | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Not shared | The Persona exists only on this device | Upload to Remote — first publish |
| Remote only | The team has it; this device does not | Get Latest |
| Edited locally | You changed files after the last sync | Upload to Remote, or Undo My Changes |
| Remote newer | A teammate published a higher revision | Get Latest |
| Conflict | Both sides changed | Get Latest — local edits are backed up first |
| Up to date | Current and Remote match | Nothing to do |
You can also ask Ask Transcodes to upload or download a named Persona. File-level confirmations still appear in the app.
Do not upload a Persona that contains secrets, credentials, or private project details. Sharing is organization-wide — every member can pull it.
What Get Latest does
Get Latest replaces local files that differ with the organization copy. Changed files are backed up first. Local files the organization copy does not have are kept, not deleted.
If an upload is rejected because the organization already has a newer revision, Get Latest first, review the difference, then upload again. Uploading blindly would discard a teammate’s work.
Undo My Changes discards edits made on this device and returns to the last revision you already had. A backup is saved first.
After you share
- Teammates open Synchronization or Organization → Remote Personas and Get Latest.
- They Apply the Persona to a project folder or this device.
- Later edits follow the same cycle: edit locally → Upload to Remote → others Get Latest → Apply again.
Organization members and invites live under Organization. Inviting a teammate is billed from the second accepted member. See Pricing.
